Meet Kelli – Lead Assistant, Sleep Apnea Advocate, and Patient Cheerleader
With nearly three decades of experience in the dental field, Kelli brings not only expertise but a deep passion for patient care. Her journey began with on-the-job training, and in 2002 she earned her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certificate from Gwinnett Technical College. Today, she serves as our Lead Assistant, and for the past three years, she has been an integral part of our Sleep Apnea team alongside Dr. Hill Lindsey and Jennifer.
Saving Lives One Breath at a Time
Kelli’s work in sleep apnea care isn’t just a job—it’s a mission. She finds incredible fulfillment in helping patients improve their sleep and, in turn, their quality of life. As she often says, there’s no better feeling than knowing you’re “Saving Lives One Breath at a Time.”
Kelli takes the time to educate patients about the critical connection between quality sleep and overall health. Her warm, compassionate approach puts people at ease as she guides them through every step of their sleep apnea journey. From answering questions to ensuring comfort, Kelli is more than just a clinician—she’s a true cheerleader and advocate for her patients.
A Personal Connection
Kelli doesn’t just talk the talk—she walks the walk. As a Sleep Apnea patient herself, she understands firsthand the challenges of poor sleep. She wears a Sleep Appliance every night and shares her own experience to reassure and support her patients. Her empathy and understanding create a powerful bond that makes her care feel personal and genuine.
Life Beyond the Office
Outside the dental office, Kelli shares a beautiful life with her husband, Wayne—her high school sweetheart and husband of 26 years. They enjoy traveling, woodworking, and spending quality time with their family, especially their son Sam, his wife Casey, and their sweet granddaughter Haven. Their household is rounded out by two lovable fur babies: Critter and DeeOhGee.
Whether she’s assisting in procedures, educating patients, or cheering them on through their treatment, Kelli embodies the heart of our team. Her dedication, warmth, and experience continue to make a lasting impact—one breath, one smile, and one good night’s sleep at a time.
